A sad day – Hero Rush has closed it’s doors, and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. The OCR world is getting more and more competitive, it seems.

That’s not a poor excuse- THAT’S REALITY. It’s not right or fair or happy or fun but that’s what happened. I don’t think it’s OK, but your money is most likely gone.
Will, They filed chapter 7 for a reason. They robbed Peter (Racers) to pay Paul (Vendors and Staff etc.) which is fine in the short term but when you don't recoup all the money your extended you file ch.7 and NO ONE gets paid or refunded.
I do understand the economics of it, but that’s a poor excuse and doesn’t make it right. It’s just bad business and unacceptable in my opinion. I work very hard for my money and to see $80 fly away because these people are irresponsible, not ok in my book.
I think it’s totally bogus they are not issuing refunds, talk about irresponsible. It’s fine that they have to shut down and cancel races, plenty of other races have done that, but no refunds, come on.
