Mark January 26th 2013 on your calendar. It may be winter, but there are some awesome race options for the New Englanders hardy enough to brave the weather and the temperatures – and both are promising to be a treat.
Polar Bear Challenge
Not for the faint of heart – the Spahten community will be sending several folks to VT to race a 5 mile course as many times as possible in 8 hours. Thats right, an outdoor, winter, 8 hour endurance OCR. We have to be in on that! More details:

Blizzard Blast
A much more sane 5k winter OCR in the woods. At time of writing, the New England Spahtens have the biggest team attending this race! How cool is that? More details:
