The countdown continues

It’s been another busy week in the New England obstacle course world – with another one to come. These recap posts serve as a way to catch you all up on whats going on.

We kicked off with Ruckus (REVIEW), which saw just shy of 20 Spahtens running, and three making it to the Championship heat – congratulations to everyone!

We also launched a new events calendarm which will be managed and kept up to date by a group of folks, including a certain red devil

The shirt/hoodie/hat – team gear! – order has CLOSED! This order has now gone to the printers, and you should expect to see it in the next 4 to 5 weeks.

Who’s interested in a winter obstacle course race? We got a sneak peak of the Extreme Wolverine Challenge‘s radio ad, and I’m super excited by this one – who wants in?

Over on the Facebook group, preparations for this weekends Rebel Race are underway – we have many many team members wearing the team shirts who will be running both the 5k and 15k options – so if you see another Spahten, take their photo and get them to me! any missed photo opps mean you’re off the team, and have to return your Spahten Schwag! (just kidding!)

We also have folks who will be running the Edavill Rail Run – a 5 mile trail race – another great race!

It’s also getting down to crunch time for the Spartan Race at Fenway, which is almost sold out and has been confirmed to be 3 miles in distance – and the Worlds Toughest Mudder – GOOD LUCK to Andrew Hostetler, who will be shooting for the toughest mudder crown, against local reigning champion (and his buddy), Junyong Pak! Training has been going hard for these events …

More next week!
